Abstract:The properties of a weak coupling magnetopolaron in polar crystals are studied by using a linear combination operator and perturbation method.If we consider the interaction between phonons of different wave vectors in the recoil process,the influence of the electron spin on the ground state energy of a weak coupling magnetopolaron in polar crystals is discussed.Numerical calculation,for a GaP crystal,as an example,illustrates that the ground state energy of the magnetopolaron will descrease with increasing magnetic field,whereas the ratio of the spin energy of the electron and the ground state energy of the magnetopolaron will increase with increasing magnetic field at different electron spin states.
