Abstract:Yb~(3+) double-clad fiber(PCF) was used as gain medium,whose one end is successfully jointed to a fiber Bragg grating(FBG),and the other end is then sealed to a fiber interferometer that has 5 m single mode fiber.The pulses,whose pulse width is 3.6 ns,peak power is 56.7 kW and repetition rate is about 1 kHz,were obtained realized,then stable self-Q-switched all-fiber laser was realized.We pointed out first that the co-operation of Rayleigh scattering(RS) and stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS) lead to obtain ns pulses from the double-clad self-Q-switching all-fiber laser.
