Abstract:Laser welding seams in titanium alloys with complex structure were detected by using real time imaging system in this paper,and the images of ray detection which contain tiny flaws were obtained. In order to effectively determine the position and distribution of porosities in laser welding sampes with complex structure,a preliminary research was proceeded on the distribtion features of porosities and a formula which can calculate the bur- ied depth of porosities was deduced based on the line profile distribution curve of the flaw position. Automated extraction algorithms of projection distance for peak anomaly and slant concave anomaly were designed individually,then the distribution features of flaw in laser welding parts of titanium alloy were determined,finally the formula was confirmed through the destructive testing of simulation samples, the verification results show that the calculated results accord with the measured results very well.
