Abstract:In order to realize beam adjustment of various beams (parallel,convergent,divergent) in three-dimensional space,a beam conditioner based on electrowetting liquid prism array is proposed .According to the theories of geometrical optics,matrix optics and electrowetting,the optical transfer function is derived ,the adjustment range of the beam conditioner for different beams is calculated,and the influence of working volt age on the light control performance of the beam conditioner is discussed.The results show that the beam conditioner can ex pand,contract,translate,converge and diverge the parallel light.It can also adjust the beam of divergent light,change the divergence angle of the emitted light, and make it into convergent or parallel light.At the same time,the beam conditio ner can also adjust the converging light, and the outgoing light can be converging light,parallel light or diverging ligh t.When the parallel light with a diameter of 5mm passes through the beam conditioner,its diameter varies from 3.08mm to 6.92mm,and it can be shifted from left to right by 0mm to 0.92mm,and its focal length f can be adjusted in the range of 7.96mm to ∞ (double convex liquid interface) or -∞~25.99mm (double concave double interface);For divergent lig ht with a divergence angle of 20°, through the beam adjuster,when the outgoing light is divergent light,its diverge nce angle varies from 0° to 45.7°,and when the outgoing light is convergent light,its convergence angle varies from 0° to 14.48°;For converging light with a converging angle of 20°,the variation range of the converging angle is 0°~49.88° when the outgoing light is converging light,and the variation range of the d iverging angle is 0°~16.02° when the outgoing light is diverging light.
