Abstract:At present, there is less research on the integration of output light beam focusing and filtering in the existing photonic crystal devices, and there are deficiencies in the integration performance of output light beam focusing and filtering. In order to realize the reliable and efficient combination of photonic crystal filtering and output light beam focusing. In this paper,a V-shaped two-dimensional square photonic crystal waveguide beam-forming structure with light-emitting and filtering functions is proposed. The structure contains three outgoing ports, which are composed of one trunk and two branches. Through the interference between the trunk and the branch, the performance of beam-forming is enhanced, and the effective propagation distance is improved. The four filtering micro-cavity structures in front of the exit port are used to filter out four central wavelengths, namely 1.452μm, 1.493μm, 1.562μm and 1.664μm, with the filtering efficiencies of 99.8%, 97.4%, 97.5% and 99.1% respectively.Through tests on the proposed structure, the structure shows a strong ability to filter the non-central wavelength bands. After testing, it is found that the effective propagation distance reaches 397.7μm and 445.9μm at 1.310μm and 1.340μm, respectively.
